St Louis Ponds, Woodburn Oregon
It is no secret, I love nature. I am always on the look out for great locations in nature that don’t cost a penny (well, other than taxes) to enjoy. St Louis Ponds has become one of those locations for us. It is well maintained, quiet, and provides some beautiful backdrops. You start going down a long gravel road unsure of where it will take you. All of a sudden it opens up and you know you are there. In case you are curious, these photos were taken around one in the afternoon. I was even able to save the magnificent clouds in a few of them.
Can you imagine a sweet family sitting on this log?
Or maybe a couple on this bench? There are many, many little docks like this one.
There are a handful of meadows that would be a lovely place when the sun is setting! Don’t you just want to channel Little House on the Prairie?
Here’s another landing that is more modern looking. It is in the shape of a T so there are many angles to get that perfect shot.
Would you prefer a perfect picture overlooking the water or frolicking through the meadows?
