My Favorite 5 Android Photo Apps

There seems to be much more love for Apple than for us poor Android users. Getting info takes a little digging, I like to think it makes us more awesome.

Here are 5 of my favorite photo apps:  5 Awesome Android apps for your photography

VSCO Cam: This is my go to app! I like the more professional photographer feel and function. I have complete control over my picture and I love how my saved photos are saved for quick and easy viewing.

Touch Retouch: Have  a stray hair to remove? This app gets rid of those distractions. It works really well, I promise!

Afterlight: Do you like to add a little character without being cheese? I love the dusty and light leaks effects I can add. It even lets you rotate them and change the opacity.

FotoRus: This is the app I use to put words on my photos. You can also use it create collages and make your skin prettier. They are always adding new goodies.

Giant Square: Have you seen those multisquare posts on Instagram? This is a new one for me and I am excited to get more familiar with it.  This is how!

Here’s my usual workflow: If it needs something removed, I start in Touch Retouch. Then I save it to VSCO or Afterlight depending on my purpose. Whichever one I sent it to, I process it. Next, if I want to add words to it, it goes to Foto Russ. Then I share it with everyone!

Hey Shanno, loved the article :) Amazing insights ...I'm currently working on a startup called SlidePick (www.slidepick.com) which aims to simplify the organization and management process of your photos. Would be awesome to have your thoughts and comments to keep improving and making the best tool possible to solve the pain that means the mess we have with our photos.

Would love to connect with you, my email is mhonorato@slidepick.com...Looking forward to hear from you!
